Quality Check and Manufacturing Faults
Each piece is meticulously quality-checked and recorded before it reaches you. In the rare case of a manufacturing fault, let us know right away!
REFUNDS
Bridal is a little different to everyday fashion. Flexible returns come at a cost, and as a small independent business we would rather invest that cost into thoughtful design, quality production and personal service than build a try-and-return model into the price every bride pays.
For this reason, we do not offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection or simply deciding a piece is no longer right for you. Our standard-size exchange and in-store credit options are outlined above. Our in-store credit is intentionally flexible and, where suitable, can also be put towards our bespoke service; meaning your options can extend well beyond the piece you originally purchased. We welcome consciously considered purchases and encourage you to reach out before ordering if you're unsure about a style or size.
Every ASTON piece is quality checked and recorded before leaving us. If you believe there is a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of receiving your order. We may request photographs, measurements or the return of the garment so our Quality Control team can assess the concern against our production specifications and QC records.
Where an issue is found and can reasonably be remedied, ASTON will arrange the appropriate repair or remedy. Fit preferences, ordinary bridal alterations, changes in your measurements, or alterations required to achieve a particular desired fit are not, by themselves, manufacturing faults.
If we ask you to return a garment for assessment and a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will cover reasonable return postage where required. If no manufacturing fault is found, the garment will be returned to you and postage will be at the purchaser's expense.
For standard-size exchanges and in-store credits, your return will be processed once the garment has been received and has passed our quality check against the return conditions outlined above.
If something doesn't seem right when your ASTON piece arrives, please reach out to us. Bridal is personal, and many concerns are much easier to resolve once we can see the garment, understand the fit and work through it with you.
ALTERATIONS
Alterations are part of the bridal journey. Whilst we aim to minimise these as much as possible by creating pieces to your exact proportions or by offering in some cases a cheaper and exchangeable standard size dress, alterations can still be necessary to achieve a specific desired fit.

If you have any fit concerns upon receiving your gown, please contact us and our team of alteration specialists will assess your unique concern, we will require images of you wearing the gown and your current measurements.
Your gown is made per the intended design and to your proportions and height. Alterations needed that pertain to the fitting process will be at brides expense.
You may wish to alter your gown to achieve your desired fit upon receiving; those associated costs will be at your expense so please factor this into your wedding dress budget. If you're making something bespoke and unique in concept (you did not try it on as one of our established styles in studio) the chance of it having perceivable differentiations in reality are going to be higher, you are liable for that pursuit of material perfection. If your measurements change from what was confirmed at your lock in date, you are liable for the alteration fees required. We are unable to offer in-house alterations, however we would love to offer advice, guidance, and alteration instructions, should you choose to consult a third-party seamstress.
We are not liable for any costs incurred or responsible for alterations completed by a third party.
ASTON Bridal do not take responsibility for any adjustments or alterations needed to be made on your gown.
